Back in US History, the us was at conflict with the native americans out west, because Andrew Jackson (7th president) was trying to force the native americans to move even further out west to make room for new white settlers to take their place. This seems brutal, so andrew jackson said that he kicked the native americans out for "the sake of their own safety" from white settlers. in other words, andrew jackson's excuse was that he thought white settlers would harm the native americans so he was sending them away from their homes out of care for their well being.
