What caused slavery in Africa before the Europeans?

Slavery in Africa happened as a result of empires and kingdoms defeating other kingdoms and taking their people captive and them enslaving them.

There was also a social hierarchy that dictated that some people would be treated as enslaved people.

When the Europeans came and offered goods for enslaved people, slave trade expanded to gain more of these commodities and wealth.

How did Philosophy impact society?

Answers

By expressing and exploring ideas that are relevant to human growth, philosophy has historically contributed significantly to human civilization. Philosophy is currently in trouble and irrelevant; it has devolved into a way to blather, profit, and spin wheels. Philosophy nowadays essentially abdicates its responsibility.

I make this statement because we are already dealing with significant physical encroachments that predict a major catastrophe for civilisation. There are too many to list, such as avoidable famine, widespread religious fanaticism, and climate catastrophe. A systematic philosophical strategy to solve this situation is urgently needed now. It is necessary to formally look for a broad conceptual framework as a means of resolving our shared issues. If there are any philosophy programs in existence today, they are few and ineffective.

Searching for wisdom's specifics seems futile when it cannot be sustained. The majority of the many philosophical schools must find a way to shift away from emphasizing historical emergence and toward emphasizing empiricism and pragmatism. Today's schools of philosophy provide a value that appeases those who engage in play with 'intellectual' reaches and helps those who have made it their vocation make money.

C is the answer as the fought off the British is defeated them.

Ethiopia differed from other African countries in its experience with European imperialism in that it was able to remain independent by defeating a European imperial army. Hence option C is correct.

How did Ethiopia differ from other African countries in its experience with European imperialism?

Unlike many other African countries that were colonized and subjected to the rule of European powers, Ethiopia managed to maintain its sovereignty and independence.

This was largely due to the leadership of Emperor Menelik II, who modernized Ethiopia's military and used it to defeat the Italian army in the Battle of Adwa in 1896. This victory made Ethiopia the only African country to successfully resist European colonization during the scramble for Africa.

Additionally, Ethiopia's unique geographical location and the fact that it had already established diplomatic relations with European powers prior to the scramble for Africa, allowed it to play European powers against each other and avoid being colonized.

In conclusion, Ethiopia's experience with European imperialism was marked by its ability to resist colonization and maintain its independence, largely due to the leadership of Emperor Menelik II and its strategic diplomatic efforts.

C to make it easier to access gold found on tribal land

D to take over the crops

E to keep white
settlers from living alongside American
Indians

F to tap into the skills of American Indian tribes

Answers

Congress passed the Indian Removal Act of 1830 primarily to free up land for white settlers to move onto, as well as to expand the territory of the United States. The option B is correct.

The act provided the government with the power to negotiate treaties with Native American tribes that would force them to leave their ancestral lands and relocate to designated areas in the west, which became known as Indian Territory.

The removal policy was also driven by a belief in the inferiority of Native American cultures and a desire to assimilate them into white American society. Congress believed that by removing tribes from their ancestral lands and forcing them to adopt European-American lifestyles, they could be "civilized" and integrated into mainstream society.

The discovery of gold on tribal lands and the desire to access valuable resources may have played a role in the passage of the Indian Removal Act. Taking over crops grown by American Indian tribes was not a significant factor in the decision.

The Indian Removal Act of 1830 represented a significant step in the United States government's efforts to expand its territory and impose its cultural values on Native American tribes, often at the expense of their lives, livelihoods, and sovereignty.

(This is what i have so far, yeah i know its bad) Whilst investigating the death of a local assassin, a brave student called Kurisu uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, golden kunai circulating throughout New York. As soon as anyone uses the kunai, he or she has exactly 8 weeks left to live. The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look distorted. A marked person feels like a burning fire to touch. Kurisu gets hold of the kunai, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: a bloody mask balancing on a assassin's face, an old newspaper headline about a gang accident, a hooded man ranting about bodys and a drinking well located in a hidden location in the woods. When Kurisu notices his arms have fire-like properties, he realizes that the curse of the golden kunai is true and calls in his friend, a nurse called Alex, to help. Alex examines the kunai and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before her eyes. She finds the bloody mask balancing on an assassin's face particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death. Kurisu and Alex pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded man. A few years later, Kurisu walked over to the window and reflected on his dark surroundings. He had survived the curse and was now living in the forest next to the well. He had figured his friend Alex burned up in flames as he didnt see her make it to drink from the well in time. Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Alex. Kurisu gulped. He was not prepared for Alex. As Kurisu stepped outside and Alex came closer, he could see the easy glint in her eye. "I am here because I want you dead," Alex bellowed, in a giving tone. You left me to die out there she showed him a burn across her arms. This is what that curse did to me She slammed her fist against Kurisu's chest, with the force of 10 bulls. "But it made me stronger, Kurisu." Kurisu looked back, even more shocked and still holding the gold kunai. "Alex, I don't want to hurt you," he replied. They looked at each other with mixed feelings. Most of the limitations are due to the fact that in essence the concept is not supposed to measure well-being. As a result, GDP fails to account for non-market transactions, wealth distribution, the effects of externalities, and the types of goods or services that are being produced within the economy.
