The colleges should be free of charge because many students cannot get into the college because of financial pressure. Colleges should also be free because many students have an income to get a loan or to pay for it and that affects their studies, if the colleges are free they don’t have to work and they can focus more on studies. If the students'' graduates without a debt it is good for the whole nation and the economy. Read the excerpt from Anthem.
Here, on this mountain, I and my sons and my chosen friends
shall build our new land and our fort. And it will
become as the heart of the earth, lost and hidden at first, but beating, beating louder each day. And word of it
will reach every corner of the earth. And the roads of the world will become as veins which will carry the best
of the world's blood to my threshold. And all my brothers, and the Councils of my brothers, will hear of it, but
they will be impotent against me.
The imagery of "the heart" suggests what relationship between the society the narrator plans to build on the
mountain and the outside world?
The new society will be restricted to the narrator's sons and selected friends.
Membership for the new society on the mountain will be open to anyone.
The narrator will establish the new society on the mountain and then will bring it to his brothers and the Councils of
brothers.
News of the new society on the mountain will gradually spread to the outside world, and the independent thinkers
will come to it.

SHOULD STUDENTS BE ASSIGNED HOMEWORK? YES OR NO? WHY? EXPLAIN YOURSELF!
WRITE A PARAGRAPH THAT LISTS TWO REASONS WHY OR WHY NOT. SUPPORT YOUR REASONS. YOU MUST USE COMMENTARY TO EXPLAINYOUR CLAIM.

Answers

I believe that homework should not be assigned to students. I feel this for many reasons, including the fact that some young students stay up late trying to catch up on work they’re missing, or just don’t understand. This causes lack of sleep, which causes lack of attention during the actual class itself. Another reason students shouldn’t be assigned work is simply because of stress. It is been shown that stress (caused by overwhelming amounts of homework) had caused students’ grades to drop. In conclusion, I feel that students would be just fine with normal in-class work instead of the stressful, unnecessary homework.

There are different types of compound verbs, such as phrasal verbs (two verbs put side by side to form another verb but not joined together), those verbs with auxiliary verbs (helping verbs with the main verb), or those that make up a compound word ( two or more verbs joined to make a single-word verb).

The given compound verbs, though put together but not making a single verb entity, are known as phrasal verbs. The given sentences with their correct compound verbs are given as follows-

1. Scientists still haven't worked out what caused the death of the animals.

Here, the verb "work out" will be put in the past tense "worked up" because of the tense form used in "caused".

3. Always cut up the meat for the dog otherwise it will choke on it.
