The statistic in the last sentence helps develop the idea that bicycle racing was a popular sport in the 1880s and 1890s by showing that the success of the first cycling periodical in 1877 quickly led to the publication of many more cycling magazines. the rapid increase in publications about cycling was directly responsible for Americans' growing interest in bicycles. Americans became interested in cycling around the same time that the publication industry began to flourish. Americans' fascination with the bicycle influenced the rapid growth that occurred in the publication industry.

Answer 1

The answer is the "Last choice".

Explanation:

The statistics show that there would be already upwards of fifty cycling publications in the US in 1894. so, that no cycling publication had provided a thorough look only at the cycling sector just 18 years ago.

Demand is an indication of desire, and several cycling magazines will survive only. If they have sufficient followers to prop them up. What is Infinite Space?

You may command, construct, and customize more than 150 spaceships in the role-playing game Infinite Space, which is available only for the Nintendo DSTM portable handheld system. This game takes you on an adventure across space.

Space will never come to an end. There are countless galaxies, stars, planets, and energies in this matrix. Sean Carroll, a theoretical physicist at the California Institute of Technology, cautioned last spring that while a limited universe would be demonstrable, infinity would never be.

William Blake, one of the finest English artists of the eighteenth century, is quoted as saying that "if the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would seem to man as it is - boundless." Blake's assertion is revisited in Infinite Space, a collection of works that uses the tools of art to purge the windows of perception.

Currently, scientists don't believe the cosmos has an end, where the galaxies would stop or where there would be a physical barrier designating the end of space. However, no one can be certain.

I'm writing a short story for school, can someone tell me if I need to revise or change anything? Here is my short story;
First Day of School a short story by Keith Trimew

On the first day of school, Reyota woke up and was not ready for his first day of 6th grade. “Wake up kids and come eat breakfast, I better not see a dirty room either” Reyota’s Mom exclaimed. “Ok fine mom” Reyota cried in despair, not ready to go to school. Reyota then woke up his big sister, Runa, and also woke up his little 5-year-old sister, Yumemi.

They then all went to go brush their teeth and took a shower to be ready for school. Reyota was always the first person to finish his morning routine since he was the only boy in the family, well except his father he works in computer science and Reyota misses his dad cause he never comes home that much cause he’s always at work. Then the kids all head up to the kitchen table to see a wonderful, exquisite first day of school meal. “Wow, mom you really have done it” Yumemi shouted being cheerful as always. They all enjoyed their breakfast and they headed out for the bus. “Bye mom, love you, and thanks for the amazing breakfast,” the kids said. “Today is my very first day of kindergarten” Yumemi exclaimed as she was ready to meet new people and make great friends. They all walk to their bus stop ready to go to school.

They had made it to school and they all were heading to their provided class. Reyota had entered what looked like the best class he had ever seen in his life. The classroom was so decorative and he saw his name tag propped on his desk with three other students at his table. His teacher was a brunette, average height pretty lady who he had already met. Her name was Mrs. Jabami and she had welcomed her students into the classroom. “Welcome everyone!” Mrs. Jabami shouted as the students glaired at her. “Today I’m not gonna stress you and give that much work since it's only your first day.” Reyota was always a little shy. “So to start off this wonderful day, let's play my favorite game, Icebreaker!”

Everyone in the class learned each other's names and Mrs. Jabami announced the class project. They were all put in groups. “Ok class so today we will be doing a big art project and you all will be put in groups of five.” They were put in five and Reyota was already beginning to like this new year and his new classroom just fine. “For any crafts, go behind my desk for anything you like but make sure it's a single file line, Mrs. Jabami exclaimed. They all walked and formed a line as they were ready to start.

‘Ding Ding Ding’! The bell rang for lunch and the students grabbed their lunch boxes but some were a school lunch. Reyota’s mom made the best lunches. They made it to the lunch table and Reyota saw his sisters and they looked like they had made new friends while he hadn’t. Lunch ended and it was time to head home, it was a rough first day for Reyota as he felt that he didn’t make any friends cause all his friends were back where he used to live because he had moved. This is gonna be a new chapter for Reyota as his new school year, new school, and the new house had been set into motion. He walked home and thought to himself I can’t wait to meet new people!

Answer:

The short story looks amazing! There is nothing you need to add! P.S. Love the names!

Answer:

-When the kids are talking to their mom, "mom" should be capitalized.

-When it says: “For any crafts, go behind my desk for anything you like but make sure it's a single file line, Mrs. Jabami exclaimed. ... Make sure to put in the quotation mark at the end, when Mrs. Jabami is talking.

-When it says" 'Ding Ding Ding'! the exclamation point should be inside of the '!', not outside.

-When it says: This is gonna be a new chapter for Reyota as his new school year, new school, and the new house had been set into motion. ... Try not to use "gonna be", instead use "going to be".

-When it says: He walked home and thought to himself I can’t wait to meet new people! Make sure that when he is thinking to himself, you put 'I can't wait to meet new people!' in the apostrophes.

I choose this quote and I don't really know how to put it in words why I agree with whoever said this “America is an improbable idea. A mongrel nation built of ever changing disparate parts.” The quote means that the United States was not expected to be constructed in the way that it is today. Discordant things and people came together and formed America, it is still happening today. Even though America fails more than it accomplishes it has made an enormous impact on the earth's society.

All members of the animal kingdom need sleep to help their brains function properly. The brain needs a minimum number of hours to rest and
organize itself. The number of hours depends on age. For example, human babies need an average of 14 to 16 hours of rest daily, while adults
can function on about 6 to 8 hours. Scientists are not completely sure what the brain does during sleep periods, but they do know that the brain
sorts and stores information and replaces chemicals when a person sleeps.

Laurie's mother hopes to befriend Charles's mother because she sees the same problems with Laurie.

Explanation:

Shirley Jackson’s short story "Charles" is a story of a young boy named Laurie and his rebellious nature, which he successfully hid from his parents by making up an imaginary friend/ classmate. The story delves into the theme of trying to search for his own identity in a new environment, trying to fit in but also his ways of trying to socialize in his new kindergarten school.

The two instances where Laurie's parents have preconceived notions of how negative Charles was for their son is when Laurie's mother lamented how she was unable to locate Charles's mother at the PTA meeting. She commented on how none of the mothers look "haggard enough" to be dealing with a child such as Charles. At the same time, she also wished to befriend Charles's mother in the hope that she can know how to handle Laurie who has turned more into a "Charles" even at home.

Thus, the correct answers are the second and third options.

Answer:

Read the excerpt from “Drummer Man.”

It turned out to be a good thing that I signed on again. It wasn’t long into my second year when our regiment fought at the Siege of Corinth. In the heat of the fight, we made a desperate charge across a ravine and Captain Williamson was wounded. So the call came in for a quick retreat, but unfortunately, the captain was left there between the lines. Somebody had to rescue him, and it was one of two times during the war that I was happy for being small. I took off in a stooping run, unseen by the enemy, and somehow found the strength to drag Williamson back to the stretcher-bearers and out of harm’s way.

Based on the excerpt, how does the narrator’s size affect his experiences?

A: It leads to him getting wounded.
B: It helps him to get rescued.
C: It leads to him being a stretcher bearer.
D: It helps him save his captain.

Answers

Answer:

D

Explanation:

I'm pretty sure its D. It cant be A because he didn't get wounded, it cant be B because the narrator never got rescued, the Captain did, and it wont make sense if it was C because he BROUGHT the captain back to the stretch bearers, not him being one. So most logical answer is D

Answer:

The answer should be D.
