What is the approximate difference in elevation from point C to point D?

Answers

Answer:

The difference in elevation between the two points is around 400 meters.

Explanation:

We can see that point C is located very close to the 1500 meter mark, while point D is located between the 1,000 and 1,200 mark, more specifically, very close to the 1,100 mark (even if this mark is not labeled).

We can assume then, that point D elevation is very close to 1,100 meters, and from a simple substraction: 1,500 - 1,100 we obtain the 400 figure that is the answer to this question.

Do you have a mostly positive or negative view of earths future? Explain

Answers

the earth is so beautiful is it positive and this so much greenery birds animals are mostly womens also and but this time world or Earth hostage country or else in any e countries States villages towns in all the coronavirus more I think is it and tell you report at this was due but in this time at this own risk

On a serious note, I think that the outlook on the earth's future can be seen as both positive and negative. Personally, and i'm gonna be completely transparent here, i don't necessarily care what the earth is gonna be like in 100 years. At that point I won't even be alive. While I know that may sound selfish and most people think, "Oh well you must not care about how the condition of earth is gonna be for your kids or even you grandkids!". And me response to that is simply, "they'll deal with it". For centuries, humanity has been adapting to unfortunate circumstances left for them by past generations, so why should future generations have it any differently? And besides, a hundred years from now, there's almost a 100% guarantee that our sciences and ways to adapting to the environment are going to be much more advanced and progressed than they are now. So while I may not care what the future holds, that doesn't mean that I throw all my trash on the street or I do my best to ruin the environment, it just means that I'm going to do my best while I can, and if that puts future generations in jeopardy then so be it...

After a river erodes a valley through several layers of rock, the layers will be the same on each side of the valley, according to which principle?Immersive Reader
(20 Points)
A. superposition
B. original horizontality
C. lateral continuity
D. cross-cutting relationships

Answers

Answer:

C. lateral continuity

Explanation:

The question above is related to the "Principles of Geology." These principles are very important not only in determining the age of rocks but in knowing how they came about and existed through time.

The "Law of Lateral Continuity" states that rock layers will just be the same even if they're divided due to an event. This means that the rock layers are continuous in a lateral manner. So, the rock layers on the left side of the valley will just be the same with the rock layers on the right side even after a river erodes the valley.

Geographically, what might account for the lower GDP per capita in Mali and Niger?
A)
They are subject to constant earthquakes.
B)
Both are influenced greatly by the desert.
C
Neither has any rivers within their borders.
D)
Their landscape is dominated by mountain ranges.

Answers

Answer:

Both are influenced greatly by the desert.

Explanation:

Mali and Niger are both countries that fall into the category of low-developed countries. The vast majority of the people live in poverty and barely manage to make ends day by day. This is due to many reasons, such as political, conflicts, terrorism, terrible healthcare, and terrible infrastructure.

Another big reason for the economic difficulties of these two countries is the climate and the landscape they have. Both Mali and Niger are dominated by deserts and steppes, thus arid and semi-arid areas. For countries, at a low level of development, this is devastating because they can not engage in agriculture on a large scale, but only locally and on a small scale. This results in shortage of food, but also no agricultural products for trade.
